Diggin in the Dat tapes: B-sides Freestyles feat. Mos Def

Once again it's 1997 and one of the things our radio show was known for was having our quest freestyle upon request. This was one of those sessions that had a few heads up at the same time ready to rock the mic. In this case we had L fudge artist on from the Rawkus label, Fiend from the Nomads from Jersey, My homies from philly and regulars of our show P.O.G. Big Bob the Northstar now known as Aul Purpis and Meat Matter holding it down for the city and a then up and coming Mos Def who got there late but literally came thru the door and grabbed the mic and started rockin! And if course yours truly holding it down on the one's and two's!
