In heavy rotation back in the early 80s this single truly captures the spirit of what has become know in the music industry at that time as the "Philly Sound". Produced and arranged by legendary musician Dexter Wansel released on the iconic Philadelphia based label Philadelphia International Records ( P.I.R.) This song takes me back to a time when music was gold life was simpler Dr J and the 76ers ran amok in the NBA and radio stations were everything. Down here in Philly i would hear this every evening on the Tony ("keepin it Brown") radio show on W.D.A.S 105.9 FM.
